What to Expect

Living Hope's auditoriumWalking into a church can be intimidating. We understand; we’ve experienced this, too! We know you may have questions: what do I wear, where do I park, where can I sit, what will happen? Let us help you understand what you can expect when you join us for the first time at Living Hope.

When are the services?

Services are every Sunday at 10:30 am and are approximately 75 minutes in length.

What should I wear?

We are pretty casual at Living Hope. It’s not uncommon to find people dressed in anything from jeans to their “Sunday best.” You may even find people dressed in their Rider jersey on game days. We want you to be comfortable. Whatever your preference – shorts and sandals, skirts or dresses, a suit and tie – the choice is yours. We are just excited to have you with us and we think you’ll fit in no matter what you wear.

How do I get to Living Hope?

Living Hope is located in Southeast Regina at 3900 Arcola Avenue East.Living Hope Lobby

From Ring Road take the Arcola Avenue East exit and head southeast.

From Victoria Avenue turn south onto Prince of Wales Blvd. Follow Prince of Wales Blvd. to Arcola Avenue East and turn left heading south east. As you follow Arcola Avenue East you may feel like you are leaving Regina. You are getting close because we are right on the edge of the city. Living Hope is located after the Woodland Grove Drive intersection on the left hand side of Arcola. Our parking lot entrance is on Arcola Avenue East.

Where should I park?

Our parking lot is pretty big with lots of room for everyone. You may park in any spot. Reserved spots for Handicapped Parking are in front of the building.

What do you offer for my kids?

We have great programs for kids! As you come in the main doors of the building (located underneath the covered driveway) you’ll be greeted by members of Living Hope who will be happy to show you where our programs for kids are located. We have something planned every weekend for kids from birth to Grade 6. If you would rather your kids joined you in our main service, that is completely up to you!

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

Living Hope's Art Glass WindowIf you are visiting with us, we don’t expect you to put money in the offering; you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider Living Hope your church home, we would encourage you to prayerfully consider giving to Living Hope. You can give by check or cash during the service, or you can give online.

What is a service like?

At Living Hope, our services have a casual feel and last for approximately 75 minutes. During each service you can expect:

Singing – we sing between 5 and 7 songs in each service. The songs are a mixture of contemporary choruses and some well-known hymns. Please don’t worry if you don’t know the words or don’t like to sing. We have great musicians and we invite you to just enjoy the music.
Teaching – our teaching team prepares an engaging and thought-provoking message every week that is based on passages from the Bible. You can listen to one of our teachings online by visiting Teaching Series on our website.
Creativity – from time to time we make use of videos, dramas and other creative elements that help communicate the weekend’s theme.

Our sermons are available online and we stream our services each Sunday if you’d like to check us out before visiting us in person.
