Adults

We think one of the best ways to get to know us and meet people is to take part in one of our groups. We have created environments and groups that will help you connect with our Living Hope family and help you learn more about becoming what Jesus envisions.

Starting Point Group
Everything has a starting point—your life, your relationships, your education, your career and even faith. Starting Point is an 8 session group conversation about faith.  Whether you are new to faith, curious about God, or coming back to church after some time away, it’s a place where your opinions and beliefs are valued, and no question is off limits.   Starting Point runs during MidWeek (Wednesdays) from 6:45 to 8:15 pm starting September 12.  Register online for our next Starting Point group.

Community Groups
Community Groups are small groups of adults who meet together regularly to connect relationally and help each other become everything Jesus envisioned.  No matter what age or stage of life, you can be a part of.  Email Pastor Kirk if you’d like to get connected with a Community Group.

If you’d like to try out a Community Group but aren’t ready to commit for more than a week or two, why not try our our Drop In Community Group which runs during MidWeek from September to June from 6:45 to 8:15.  No need to register, just drop in!

Workshops and Seminars
Workshops and Seminars are gatherings designed to catalyze spiritual and relational growth.

Here’s what we are offering for Workshops and Seminars for fall 2018:

  • The Marriage Course – The Marriage Course is for couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship. Some couples do the course to intentionally invest in their relationship, others are looking to address more specific challenges. Either way, the course offers essential tools and practical ideas to help you build a relationship that lasts a lifetime. The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles but designed for all couples with or without a church background.  The Marriage Course runs during MidWeek (Wednesdays) from 6:45 to 8:15 pm starting September 12. Space is limited and advance registration is required.  Register for The Marriage Course online.
  • Hearing God – Does God still speak today? This is one of the most important questions a Christian can explore. This question has huge implications for every aspect of a person’s life and walk with God. Through teaching and hands-on practicum, you’ll explore how to pray and hear God.  Hearing God runs during MidWeek (on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month) from 6:45 to 8:15 pm starting September 12.
  • Soul Care Conference – Brokenness grasps for the soul of humanity. We are broken body, soul, and spirit, and we need the healing touch of Jesus. Soul Care explores seven principles that are profound healing tools of God: securing your identity, repentance, breaking family sin patterns, forgiving others, healing wounds, overcoming fears, and deliverance.  Dr. Rob Reimer will challenges participants to engage in an interactive, roll-up-your-sleeves and get messy process — a journey of self-reflection, Holy Spirit inspiration, deep wrestling, and surrender. It is a process of discovering yourself in true community and discovering God as He pierces through the layers of your heart.
